We were extremely lucky with the weather on the evening of 18th June - the sun occasionally peeped out from behind the clouds, the rain stayed away and we were able to enjoy the beauty of the Robertshaw's garden as we watched our fellow ATC members put on a 'production' of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Sally Fletcher had produced a 'potted version' of the script and members took it in turns to play characters of their choosing. We had donkey ears, various hats helping the audience determine one character from another and we even had three little fairies fluttering in and out of the trees behind the 'stage'.
With a barbecue and lots of opportunity to chat before the entertainment it really was a great social event - one we would hope to repeat next year.
