Lest We Forget
2014

An evening consisting of 2 one act plays marking the centenary of the First World War with a themed interlude by our younger theatre members.

Performed on 17th & 18th October 2014 the first play, Grandma's Photograph documented one family's loss as seen through the lens of the camera as the family sat for their annual portraits. In 'Dig for Victory' we saw archaeological excavation identifying bones of WW1 soldiers uncovered in a mass grave. Brought to life the soldier and his wife discussed how the family coped with their loss.
